1. Patrick Birk:  Patrick’s goal is to graduate from Northern Illinois University with numerous professional experiences to complement his education, all in less than four-years. He is earning a B.S. in Business Administration, a minor in marketing, and a certificate in professional sales. In addition to his studies, Patrick has already completed three internships and he has earned a forth internship this summer. After his trip to Silicon Valley, he will be joining the White Lodging Sales and Marketing Team for his internship in Chicago.
  2. Taylor Cole: Taylor is a junior at Northern Illinois University who is majoring in marketing and pursuing a certificate in professional sales. Being involved in athletics throughout his lifetime has helped him develop a unique set of skills such as time management, leadership, and the ability to be coachable. Taylor is currently the captain of the NIU Men’s Soccer Team, as he was named to this role in the spring of 2015. Taylor’s strength is the competitive mindset he has developed throughout his career as an athlete on the soccer field that he carries as a scholar who proudly holds a 3.3 GPA.
  3. Moneeb Elewa: Moneeb will graduate in May of 2016 from Northern Illinois University as a marketing major with an emphasis on sales and social entrepreneurship. He is a Chick Evans Scholar recipient from caddying religiously at Medinah Country Club.  Moneeb does not know what his future entails but is passionate, social and eager to take advantage of opportunities.
  4. Connie Ellett: Connie is a junior majoring in marketing and pursing the professional sales certificate. She is a member on the Marketing Student Advisory Board, tje NIU Women’s Golf Team, and the Marketing Honors Society. Connie is a two-time recipient of the Betty Ann Rich Award, been an Academic All-American, and earned Academic All-MAC honors.
  5. Michaela England: Michaela is a marketing and pre-law student pursuing certificates in both professional sales and interactive marketing. As part of the Honors Program at NIU, she hopes to graduate next May with full University Honors. This semester, Michaela won NIU’s 5th Annual Ethics Case Competition of over 30 teams alongside of her partner, Katelyn Houlne. She currently holds the position of Spirit and Motivation in her professional business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi and has held the position of Minister of Propaganda for the Honors Student Association. She is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
  6. Denep Guerra: Denep is a junior pursuing a professional sales certificate, interactive certificate, and minors in Italian and French. She has been working in the promotional marketing industry for six years, with an extensive background in all types of events. Her experience includes team management and brand ambassador work for many well known clients. She also has experience as a bilingual staff coordinator for an event staffing agency. She is constantly looking for new opportunities that will allow her to continue to grow professionally, gain additional experience and knowledge. She will be an account specialist Intern at Enterprise this summer.
  7. Brett Hessenauer: Brett is a junior marketing major with an emphasis in professional sales. He was vice president of academics for Tau Kappa Epsilon while boosting the organization GPA by .15.  He currently serves as the vice president of housing and operation for Tau Kappa Epsilon, helping to organize an event that raised $1,600 for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
  8. Bryan Holzhauer: Bryan is a marketing student with a focus on sales graduating in December 2015. He has competed in Pi Sigma Epsilon’s regional and national sales competition finishing 4th overall and 2nd in the national competition. He is a veteran of the US Army, has an extensive five year sales background in firearms and currently manages a local golf course in the city of Dekalb. He is the current vice president of human resources for the co-ed business fraternity Pi Sigma Epsilon where his duties include recruitment and new member preparation. This summer he will be interning for Hormel foods in Kansas City, MO in a consumer product sales position.
  9. Michael Howell:  Michael is pursuing a dual major in management and marketing and a certificate in professional selling. He an active member of the Management Student Advisory Board (MSAB) where his primary role is fundraising. He was a sales manager from 2010-2012 at Petland in Naperville. Michael led the store to over two million dollars in revenue, and he produced 25% ($500,000) of that on his own. His experience at Petland influenced Michael to go to Northern Illinois University to grow into a better leader and sales person.
  10. Kendra Knop: Kendra is a senior pursuing a degree in marketing and a certificate in professional sales. She currently serves as a marketing and promotions intern in Northern Illinois’ University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Her most recent achievements include becoming vice president of marketing for the Collegiate Sales Advisory Board, and vice president of membership for the NIU chapter of the American Marketing Association.
  11. Kara Otis: Kara is a senior majoring in marketing. She has completed a minor in Spanish and is actively pursuing the professional sales certificate. Kara has been a member of Alpha Phi Omega, a Co-Ed Service Fraternity for the past three years, and has held two executive board positions with that organization. She is also member of Women in Business Professions.
  12. Vitaliy Rikhlyuk: Vitaliy is a junior marketing major who is pursuing a certificate in professional sales . Vitaliy transferred to NIU from the College of DuPage, where he was a Presidential Scholar.
